HomeTails' primary pet sitter and dog walker,
Sara Marshall, accepted her first pet sitting
assignment from a neighbor when she was eight
years old. Her younger years were filled with not
only her own pets but an abundance of homeless
dogs and cats, some with special needs, that Sara
fostered until they found permanent homes. While
still in junior high school, Sara was assisting vet
techs and observing procedures at her local
veterinary clinic, handling a dog in the show ring,
and studying animal behavior and psychology.

As an adult, animals are still the focal point of
Sara's life. She thoroughly enjoys her work for
HomeTails and can think of nothing else she'd
rather be doing. In her spare time, she still
participates in dog shows and obedience trials
with her own dogs.

Sara is bonded and insured, and is a member of
the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters
and Pet Sitters International. She has been certified
in Pet First Aid by the American Red Cross.
